How to put up and opt-in box in your side bar of your blog
Okay, I would like to give a special thanks to Lori James for helping me once again. She is terrific her website is http://www.everythinghomebiz.com/
Go to your AWeber account, pick the name of the list that you already set up.
Next go to Web Forms then scroll down, that’s where your existing form should be.
Then go over to copy, and click to copy your form.
When it says Web form created just rename it (mine is Johnslistbuilding ebook)
You can put a description in like “listbuilding eBook” for example
Then go down to “thankyou page” and type in:
http://www.aweber.com/form/thankyou_vo.html
Hit Save
Scroll down and make sure your e-mail address is correct
Hit Save
Then go to design form, add a header about the free eBook I used 2″ font for my first line, and 2″font for the text under that.
Then add a footer using 1″font stating that you don’t like spam and you won’t ever share their e-mail with anyone.
Then change your submit button put in something not to long, Send my free ebook Then save
Next go up to the top menu and click on verified opt-in
scroll down to the confirmation success page and type in:
http://theurlyouare usinggoeshere/tydnld.htm
Then pull up your wordpress blog and go to presentation (yours might be design). Go into edit the theme or design, and choose edit sidebar.
Go back to your aweber web form and click on “get html”, choose javascript and copy that code.
Go back to wordpress and paste the code where you want the form to show up in your side bar.
log out of wordpress then log back in and your form should be there.
Wow I never thought this newbie could do this but I have just look at the side bar,not bad could be better still learning.

Hi John
Thanks very much for visiting my http://AlanNeath.com blog and leaving a comment, naturally i have added you to my blog roll.
Looking around all the students including your own pages it is amazing to see the rich diversity and knowledge being shared.
To improve your opt in box in the right navigation bar, you could try editing the sign up button to reduce the button width, the fewer the words the smaller the button, a simple solution, worth trying !
Have a great Christmas.
