Pinging made easy
What is pinging and why do you need it? Pinging is a way to update different search engines that your blog has updated information. Letting the search engines know you have updated you blog will give you some visibility, it will not however drive a lot of traffic to you site. However you will receive some if you ping once a day . You do not want to ping more than once a day and only chose between one of these two services that I recommend. http://pingomatic.com/ and www.autopinger.com Pingomatic is a service that has less features than autopinger, it does not let you know any details of whether or not the ping was successful. If your are like me and want to know detail on whether or not the ping was a success than I would choose autopinger. This service gives you up to the minute details of whether your ping was successful. How do you ping well that is easy first you must supply your url feed. You can do this by clicking on your rss feed button and looking at the top of the htpp box, you will see your url address there. copy and paste it in the box you see that looks like this rss url
then you want to put your blog website name in the box that looks like this. blog home page then you want to put your blog name in the space where it says to put it. After you have done this you then want to check the boxes that you want the search engines to send to.Services to Ping (Check common)
then you want send your pings by clicking the send button here.
That’s it but remember only do this once a day or you risk getting kicked off this service provider and only use one of the providers a day from what I recommend above, or this to could get you kicked off. If you have wordpress you can check the box that says allow pings and wordpress will send the ping automatically so you do not have to worry about sending once a day it will be done for you.Popularity: 1% [?]

Back to your post. I am in the same boat as you. Just got my blog started in December and plan to make at least the equivalent to my current salary online this year. No clue how it’s going to happen but I know it will!
